California's wildland fire problem will be examined through wildland fire safety, weather effects, fuels, fire behavior, initial attack methods, using support equipment, including the use of topographic maps, strategy and tactics, and air attack operations. Accredited by the C.F.S.T.E.S. Chief Officer certification requirements. Prerequisite: FIRE B50a. Hours: (40) 36 lect, 4 lab for 1 week. Offered: F, S, SS. CCS: Occupational Education.
