Survey of World Literature - 3
A study of representative works of world literature in historical and cultural contexts, focusing on their aesthetic significance and the enduring human values which unite the different literary traditions. Covers antiquity to approximately 1650. Recommended for English and Comparative Literature majors and as an elective for majors in the humanities, history or education. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of ENGL B50 with a minimum grade of “C” or English Level 6. Recommended: ENGL B1b. Hours: 54 lect. Offered: F, S (two out of every three years).
