Study of important forage crops of California and the nation; species, varieties, adaptations, production methods, feeding qualities, and processing. Students who have previously successfully completed the course may repeat when needed for state mandated pest control license. Students must obtain a special override from the Admissions and Records Office. Recommended: Reading Level 5 or 6. Hours: 36 lect, 54 lab. Field trips required. Offered: Alternate S.
