Covers anatomy, physiology, disease descriptions, and identification of caged birds, laboratory, and exotic animals. Instruction in restraint, physical examination, anesthesia, surgery, specimen collection, species identification, and the legal ramifications of owning exotic animals. Prerequisite: ANSC B80 with a grade of C or better. Hours: 36 lect. CCS: Occupational Education. Not Transferable: Associate Degree only.
