Change is coming, and we need your vote. Bakersfield College is in the midst of voting for a new tobacco policy; 100% tobacco free or designated smoking areas. As some of you may already know, the Student Government Association held a vote in the past; however, because that vote included three options, none of the choices received a majority. As a result, we are re-doing the vote between the two options that received the most votes. If you are passionate about tobacco use on campus, then this is the time to have your voice heard. Please exercise your right to vote and encourage your fellow students to do the same. You can access the vote by logging into your insideBC. The ballot is located at the bottom portion of the insideBC homepage. Students who vote are entered for a chance to win a Nook Color or a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble.
